Traditional saunas are at the heart of Finnish well-being. Recommended public saunas to visit:
These saunas are situated next to the sea, so you can dip into the Baltic Sea. Bring your swimming suit, but all public saunas also have swimming suits and towels at rental. It is advisable to book public saunas well in advance, as they are extremely popular among both the Finns and tourists.
To explore
We recommend that you explore the seaside in Eira and Töölö, Katjanokka and Eira for Jugend Art Nouveau architecture, Punavuori for galleries and boutique shops, and Kallio for student life. Forests and lakes are close.
