SALSA 2025 Biennial Conference
SALSA 2025 Individual Proposal Submission form:
The XV SALSA Biennial Conference 2025 has the pleasure to announce that the call for submissions of proposals for individual papers, posters and contributions to workshops and special events is now open. Proposals can be submitted to already accepted open panels, workshops, and special events, or as individual contributions related to the conference theme, without specifying a panel.
The deadline for submitting individual proposals is January 31, 2025. Notifications of acceptance will be sent by 28 February, 2025, the latest.
Panels consist of 20 minute paper presentations and discussion. In workshops, the papers are pre-circulated among participants and read prior to the conference. A workshop consists mainly of discussion of pre-circulated papers. Accepted posters will be presented in a separate poster session by the authors. Special events can be e.g. artistic explorations of the conference theme, roundtables, or facilitated discussions that may also involve non-academic participants.
In order to be included in the final program, all organizers and participants of panels, workshops, and special events must pay BOTH the SALSA membership fee as well as the conference fee by 31st March 2025. The registration will open on February 1, 2025. The SALSA membership and conference fees are as follow:

The conference fee includes coffees throughout the three conference days and the conference dinner. Indigenous participants’ conference and membership fees will be waived.
