Alf Hornborg delivered the Keynote Lecture of the 2014 SALSA Conference, on June 28th 2014, 6:00 PM, at the Assembly hall, top floor of the Annedalsseminariet of the University of Gothenborg (Sweden), with the title “Persons, Things, and Perceptions in Indigenous Amazonia: Comparative Reflections on Animism, Fetishism, and Perspectivism” (see the Video Alf Hornborg on Technology as Fetish).

A revised version of his lecture, titled “The political economy of technofetishism: Agency, Amazonian ontologies, and global magic,” was published in HAU Journal of Ethnographic Theory.
