Cubeo Hehenewa and Tukanoans of the Upper Uaupes River

This site documents the languages of the Cubeo Hehenewa and other Tukanoans of the Upper Uaupés River by presenting twelve episodes of Tataroko, a program broadcasted by YURUPARI ESTEREO 104.3 FM, a grassroots radio station located in Mitú (Uaupés-Colombia). Each episode is conducted in Cubeo and Spanish languages. The theme of the episodes includes commentaries and explanations about Cubeo and other Tukanoan expressive practices, which include rituals, dances, vocal and instrumental performances.
