Nationals of CAN and MERCOSUR member countries
CAN
Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru
The Andean Community of Nations (CAN) established the recognition of the National Identification Document as a valid document for the entry and exit of nationals of the CAN member countries as tourists to the territories of the member countries of this Community. When entering the national territory, this criterion will be taken into account even when the person comes from a third country that is not part of the CAN. The Migratory Card must be issued as proof of regular entry.
MERCOSUR
Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay
The member countries of the Common Market of the South – MERCOSUR recognized the National Identification Document as a valid travel document for the entry and exit of nationals of MERCOSUR member and associated countries, as tourists. When entering the national territory, this criterion will be taken into account even when the person comes from a third country that is not part of MERCOSUR.
