There is a pharmacy close to the subway station Karlsplatz. In case of more serious health issues, please contact the conference secretary. We have first-aiders at the museums and they can also assist you in finding other medical help. The emergency numbers in Austria are:
Police: 133
Ambulance: 144
If you plan to bring young children with you to the SALSA meeting in Vienna and might need babysitting or daycare services, please write to Claudia Augustat ([email protected]) letting her know your name and the number and ages of the children. On the basis of your responses we’ll prepare something for you—at the very least, the names and coordinates of a few babysitters.
