Illegal gold miners take over FUNAI base and airstrip near isolated Yanomami settlement in Brazil
The Hutukara Yanomami Association denounced the takeover by illegal gold miners of an abandoned FUNAI base and airstrip in the vicinity of an isolated Yanomami village along the upper Catrimani River in Roraima, Brazil. Full story (in Portuguese) at Instituto Socioambiental.
